I had to share this song with you all.
This is such a powerful and emotional song.
It isn't often that I find a song that makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time - that has an incredible music video to accompany it.
It is just perfect.
I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.
This song just breathes heartbreak and passion.
It is a song that will always resonate in my heart and one that will always bring back memories even though I don't have any with the song, if that makes sense.... I relate to it. I remember the feelings felt when my heart was broken - when I was in love.
I remember it all.

DeleteOh my goodness, I love this song. I watched the video awhile ago and was so sad to see the storyline included an old couple. I totally cried..!! I deal with a lot of elderly people in this community especially and at the pharmacy. I can't imagine what that would feel like. In the video it just shows her looking blankly and then the line- "say something I'm giving up on you.." is sung.. oh. my. gosh. So so so so so sad. Great song though. Absolutely love hearing the softer side of Christina!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean - I first heard this song while I was driving and I literally had to pull off to the side of the road by the waters edge and just sit and listen.... gave me goosebumps.
