Originally from Congleton, England, I now reside in sunny South Africa in a small town in the Garden Route.

I started blogging back in 2010, having wanted to be a writer since I was old enough to hold a pen. 

At first my blog was purely personal - general ramblings of a complete nobody that I thought no one would ever read. 

Slowly I started to branch out and blog about recipes I'd tried out, films I'd seen, restaurants I'd experienced... eventually I gained a small group of loyal, regular readers and thereafter it just bloomed!  

I don't blog about something unless it is something that I want to blog about. 

One piece of advice I can give any of you aspiring bloggers' would be to not force anything onto your blog. 

Love and respect your writing enough to only publish things that you are happy with; don't do it simply because you think you'll get more traffic and readers or because you haven't written in a while.

A blog should be personal, something that represents who you are and what you are about. 

In this blog you'll find everything from beauty product reviews, personal recipes, general life posts, movie and book reviews, quotes, a ton of photography, the occasional poem or short story, fashion, travel posts and more.
