I'd Date Me

Hello ladies!

Every Monday my good friend, Kyle and I go out for dinner and share a bottle of good quality wine.
Last night we had our dinner date at Emily Moon by the Bitou River in Plettenberg Bay. It is a beautiful restaurant nestled between the most gorgeous milk-wood trees and overlooking the breathtaking wetlands.
The rustic design makes you feel like you have just stepped into Portugal or Tunisia. You get there and instantly feel like you are on holiday.
We had their tuna spring rolls to start accompanied by mixed berry cocktails and mojito’s while we sat outside by the crackling fireplace.
For mains we moved inside and I had their seafood pasta, which comes in a white wine sauce and is wrapped in tin foil, (I love it when food is wrapped in tin foil. It’s like opening a present and it gets me really excited!).

We finished the night with the most delicious dark chocolate fondant to share.
I think it is important to look at yourself in the mirror and think, “Yeah, I’d date me…” if you’re going to be dolling up and going somewhere fancy. If you have confidence in yourself and in what you are wearing, heads will turn and you will feel like a million dollars.

  1. Well look at you - you look amazing. I love this whole outfit! I don't think we have a Mr Price here, but I love the bag with the shoes and the style of the skirt. Very 'dateable'! So where did you get your inspiration from in the end?

  2. Thank you! It was originally paired with a black button up with the sleeves rolled up but it was just too hot here in South Africa.
Mr. Price is incredible - I'm an absolute Mr. Price junkie!!

The inspiration was all from my head actually! I'd gone out and bought a few pink goodies the other day and paired them all together :)

Have a wonderful week, Col! x

    1. South African shopping isn't as good as UK or USA but if you know where to go you can find some nice things - yes :)
