Appreciation of the Blogging Nation!

I have been blogging for just over four years now and lately my blog has boomed. It has been an absolute pleasure hearing from all of my new readers' and writing my latest posts on my travels, recipes, reviews and just random life shenanigans that go on in my day to day living. 

The feedback, support and love I have received from you all has been absolutely incredible and insanely heartwarming. 

There are three ladies however, that have really stood out beyond the rest. 

The first is Savannah:

Her writing is absolutely delectable. I love reading her stuff, it is raw, it is real... and we need more of that in the blogging world these days.

I had a really bad day the other day and of course, I blogged it out. 

A lot of the time you get these comments on your blog from people who literally just say:

"Nice blog. Follow me!" 

And gosh it irritates me.



If that's the kind of comments you're going to leave here I'd really prefer if you just didn't. I want to be followed and follow bloggers that actually read my writing, respect it and enjoy it! Vice Versa with me, I only want to follow blogs that I enjoy and will actually take the time to read in my life. 

I don't blog and follow people just to gain more followers. I blog because I love it. I comment on blogs when I actually enjoyed someone's post! 

It is when I get a comment from someone that shows they actually read my blog, enjoyed it and found some sort of message or inspiration from it that I love! 

These three lovely ladies always send me beautiful long comments and have really found a special place in my heart as three great new blogging friends. 
I've never met them - and that's the beauty of it. We blog and meet new and interesting people all of the time and I am blessed to have met you all!

    Stumbling across your blog (I can't even remember how) is what inspired me to get back in to my neglected, high school "blog" - If you could have even called it that. It's slowly getting there so for that, I thank you. C=

    It's wonderful to see someone appreciating their followers, and valuing what they have to say - when it's something of substance, as opposed to "OMGcoolblogfollowme!"
    rather than sitting there, chuckling to themselves and stroking their moustache because they have 5,000 "followers" who contribute nothing to the blog except a member count.
    Pointless. -.-
    Follow things worth following, not to be followed, I say.

    Hahaha ain't nobody got time for that! Amen. I hate those comments. I was actually admiring a fellow blogger; Rox the Fox before about how she always generates so much conversation in her comments. She still gets the occasional few generic ones but none the less people leave paragraph upon paragraphs for her. I don't know her secret. She writes brilliantly though and seriously makes me LOL. I've been trying to do the same thing for ages, sigh. Well anyhoo, keep up the awesome work darling and thanks for sharing these other bloggers deets. Will check them out too.
